What are Blue Spaces?
Research shows that being near, in, on, or underwater can make you happier, healthier, more connected, and better at what you do.
The ocean is a fundamental and free health resource. As part of ecotherapy, which is defined as therapeutic intervention through nature, it is underutilised and undervalued. Blue Spaces provides access to marine environments to enable people to better utilise the health-giving aspects of the coast whilst prioritising underprivileged communities.
We also educate the community on how best to tap into the health benefits of marine-related activities, giving individuals and groups a tangible focus while also contributing to the conservation of the marine environment.
